After the shock demise of the quadcopter yesterday I dug out the Silverwing RC helicopter. Why not?
After yesterday's untimely demise of the quadcopter! (It ended up in the local carp fishing lake)
I've decided I should learn how to fly this helicopter in a safer environment so we're going to
try it in the back garden.
Just to try to get a feel for how the thing works. How it flies? That kind of thing.
20 minutes later. I came to the stark conclusion that there was only one course of action.
Okay short answer. I give up. Remote control vehicles and me are not going to happen.
I just haven't got a clue about remote control thingys.
I think we're on different paths but it was a giggle. It was good fun while it lasted but I can't be bothered with it anymore. It did give me a bit of exercise having to retrieve it from various places .
It was driving me around the bend but in a fun way, it was a giggle. There will always be the lingering doubt. Was the crash an accident or did I subconsciously sabotage the drone?
We may never know?
So why did I bother? Simply for the fun of it. Yep that's the reason. For the fun
