I was on Granpee duty yesterday and we took Eden to the park. It's not often you come across a 2.4 year old genius but we were suitably impressed with his knowledge of physics and dynamics.
He mastered all the apparatus in seconds while we had a little trouble adapting to the various elements that throw one about in a play park. It was very amusing for all concerned.
It was a beautiful day.
I may be a tad biased by being Eden's grandfather but he is a little genius.
Luke is Eden's uncle and is also a father to two lovely older children who were at school so couldn't be with us.
Parenting is a skill that has to be nurtured and developed and you need good role models if you didn't have good parents yourself.
Take your kids or grandkids to a park and see life through their eye's for a change.
Get them off the technological babysitter's and get involved in their lives.
